The closure activities include: Progressive closure (until 2021), final closure and post closure activities. CP budget stands at USD 12.021 MM (inc VAT). Final closure and post-closure activities have an implementation period of 01 and 05 years respectively.

According to directorial resolution Nº430-2015-MEM/DGAAM given on November 11th 2015, Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mines approved Catalina Huanca Closure Plan 1st modification.
