Geophysical study using Bidimensional Electric Tomography, GPR, MASW and MASW-2D methods for regrowth of tailings deposit No 3".
Geophysical ground exploration conducted through Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) and two-dimension (MASW 2D) methods, through which the power of the layers was determined following the interpretation of S waves (Vs) speed of the material which forms the ground.
The geophysical evaluation also involved field exploration through electrical tomography tests from which resistivity values of the area were determined to visualize the electrical properties of the subsurface.
Vs waves propagation velocity calculation in the study areas by executing MASW tests which enable obtain one-dimensional profiles of Vs and 2D MASW tests for obtaining two-dimensional Vs profiles.
Determining resistivity values of land in the study area by testing electrical tomography.
