Matarani port

El Proyecto Matarani contará con un sistema de recepción, almacenamiento y embarque de minerales que permitirá el despacho de 2300 TPH de minerales. Inicialmente el mineral ingresará al Terminal Portuario por vía férrea y por vía terrestre a uno de los edificios de descarga, los cuales a través de una línea transportadora que llevará el mineral hasta los almacenes.

Construction management of berth F; it includes reception, transport, storage and shipment of Las Bambas, Antapaccay and Cerro Verde mines copper concentrates.

The project includes the reception of ships between 20,000 and 50,000 DWT, a bridge access 168.0m long and 5.0m wide, a pier 261.0m long and 18.4m wide, and a fretwork between 17m and 20m deep.

The project also includes 23 conveyor belts, of which 20 are conventional (total length: 2,165m), 02 are trippers (total length: 345m), and 01 is a pipe conveyor (length: 373m).

Finally, the storage capacity of Xstrata’s warehouse is 100,000 mt, while the storage capacity of Cerro Verde’s warehouse is 150,000 mt.
